Preschool Teacher — Three-Year-Old Classroom
$16–$19 per hour
Help three-year-olds build confidence, friendships, and a love of learning. We’re seeking an enthusiastic, patient, dependable teacher with a warm approach, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in working with young children.
What you’ll do
- Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities through play, stories, art, music, and hands-on discovery.
- Support early language, social skills, independence, and daily classroom routines.
- Use positive guidance and provide attentive supervision in a safe, welcoming classroom.
- Communicate with families, observe children’s progress, and work cooperatively with the teaching team.
Qualifications and qualities we’re looking for
- Experience caring for or teaching preschool-age children, especially three-year-olds.
- A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, early childhood education coursework, or a related degree is preferred.
- Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate teaching practices.
- Strong communication, teamwork, reliability, patience, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to meet the applicable Michigan childcare licensing qualifications, background-check requirements, and required health and safety training for the position.
